Need to run Mr. Kool fogger from distance farther than supplied cable allows.Is there an extension available or can I build one? Any details?

Hi, Did you get an answer to your question about extension cables for the Mister Kool controller, or find a solution?
I called Am DJ to ask. They had no information available. Also, the tech I spoke to could not tell me if it would be okay or not to use 3-pin extension cables.
I appreciate any information you have or can refer me to.

I am not completely familiar with this unit and I apologize, but if it uses a standard ICE connection for the remote, any computer power extension will do fine.
You can also buy either two adapters to convert the cable to Edison plugs and use regular extension cords and another adapter for the other end or you can buy a little box from ...another company with a model number of DMX-3F that can covert the signal to DMX for longer runs.
If it uses the midi type cables (6 pin) then any midi type cables will also work fine.

Hmm, not bad. Cheap too. I might get three of those for my fog machines and then fit them to the units.
Beware that the DMX-3F does not work on all brands of fog machines.
