Hello all I am new to this forum, so pardon if i step on any toes, so to speak... I'm a newbie to lighting but not partying... I want to get a couple things for my New Years eve party at my house and was thinking of one of the above mentioned products... What is the primary difference between these 2? It will mostly be used for house parties, not on a professional basis....

well they are both pretty much the same effect but one hasa 100 watt bulb and the other has a 200 watt bulb! and the ohter features this:• Variable speed knob to control the rotation
• Counter clockwise, clockwise rotation switch
• Control the speed of the rotation with a Mini/C controller (sold separately)
so really it is all about price and bulb wattage! ur choice u really can't go wrong either way but have u considered one of the new plug n play scanners?? those are cool check out this one:DYNASTY RAY

Hehehee... SO i ended getting a Millennium instead, seems like an all encompasing light. I will only have an additional 12 inch mirror ball and a fog machine, and this is basically for house parties, so i think i might be ok....
