no....the guest dj was correct. i run my mighty scan system in a row all the time and it is much more impressive than a club here in town that uses them in the corners, the prob with the corners is that they don't have the same coverage area as the in line, i have seen them though when they were grouped in the center, that was awsome. trust me though, corners look like ****
hey i got an idea, why not put them all in a line and see how YOU like em. If it's better in your opinion keep em there, if it was better the old way move em back. I will say in concert lighting (wich is more my field) that 4 in a line is more impressive but other angles gives more possibilities. whatever you decide. (by the way, i use mighty's too.)
I've ran four Mighty's and more ata time in both an inline arrangement and in a rectangular room. I personally have found that the light arrangement depends most on your personally taste. Remember you are prolly the biggest critic in the room. That's set aside it also depends on the other lighting used to accent your mightys. If you can try putting two mightys on each wall forming a "square" in the rectangular area. Then if you have center your mirror ball in that square and set up your other lights after your intelligents are up. Hope that helps
