MIDI trouble in OPERATOR II

I'm using OPERATOR II with a SONY VAIO and M-audio audiophile card. My card works fine with any equipment or sound module I use. Responds fine to any note and every signal.
The problem is with OPERATOR II it seems like it can't understand the MIDI channel and responds to every signal I send for other MIDI channels.
Even if I don't use other MIDI signal OPERATORII responds fine to the MIDI channel asigned but makes some mistakes like playing wrong 'notes' instead of the ones i send.
