MIDI PAK problem?

Hi,
Other than the 1 page manual for the Midi Pak, does anyone know of any other programming documentation?

I've had it for 3 years, just doing simple MIDI triggering of 4 different effect lights (each plugged into one of the 4 inputs)...
I'm sending info from a drumKAT on channel 15 (Midi Pak is set to receive on same channel).
I have 4 trigger pads, each sending a single note #... 004, 005, 006, & 007. The GATE Time for these pads is set to LATCH - which leaves the light on until I hit it again.
Up until now, each time I hit one of these pads, they would turn on/off the corresponding light.

Here's the problem I have... when I hit my trigger pad, set to note number 005 (which should just turn on a single light), all the MIDI Pak channels turn on. If I hit the pad again, they'll shut off (which is how I set it up).

hi there--did you ever find out any info about these midipaks >>??

I have two of them--i can get them to work --triggered by midi--BUT--only if the notes are longer than half-notes or so....
are you able to get them to be triggered on and of--fast---like when you do a drum roll ???
