I have to agree with Roq.....I use Sure SM-58, or even better Beta-58's. Although if you are on a tight budget. The American Audio UHF-16 is one of the best sounding wireless systems under $200. Expect to pay anywhere between $400-$1200 for a wireless system with a Sure SM-58, or Beta-58 head.

Can anyone give advice on a gooseneck style mic to use on my console rack so I don't have to always use my Sure?

Well ADJ doesnt make that kind of mic but other companies do (ie G*emini, A*udioT*echnica, Sure). (sorry ADJ) Prices vary depending on what kind you get. Try doing a search and there are many carriers that have the mics in stock.
