Mega-Pixel DMXing

Hello,

I've been working with some LEDs recently... all has been going well (just) until today when I put them up in the rig, "scanners" 1 and 2 are two Chauvet Intimidators. I was to include the Mega- Pixels as Scanners 3 and 4 but when I connect them into the rest of the DMX chain they just flash a blue green colour and become uncontrollable?

Can anyone think of what might be wrong?

Check your dip switches on the Chauvet Intimidators, they may be reversed. I have two that indicate "on" but are actually "off".

Are you sure you're using DMX or master/slave mode? Also, check your addresses and operating modes.

I found out it was a dodgy cable...

It all works fine now except from, when I put the controller on "blackout" the LED bar occasionally flashes blue for no reason...

Can anyone think why?

Are you using Mic cable or DMX cable? Do you have a terminator at the end of the line on the last fixture? flashes of light are a data issue bout 99% of the time.
