Mega Pixel and DMX issues

Could you please elaborate on exactly it is not working? Are you sure you have the unit set to receive DMX and on the proper DMX starting address? Also what channel mode are you using

Sorry I wasn't specific enough, the DMX mode does not work with the particular unit I have , I have it set on DMX mode with it set to channel one, the first channel I am using. I have tried it in every channel mode and nothing seems to work. The unit will not accept commands from the dmx software. All my other lights on my rig work perfectly fine. Even the light that is next in sequence works fine but for some reason the mega pixel won't accept the commands.

Strange. your positive based off the info in the manual the unit is in DMX mode? Not to insult your intelligence or anything. Maybe you should give service a call? do you have another controller you can test on?

I do not unfortunately I just have the myDMX software...and I am positive it is in DMX mode. It is a really strange issue.

Just called the support center...not to be a jerk or anything but they weren't very helpful or nice either....I just would like this issue resolved.

So I received a brand new light from the company I bought my light from originally and that one has the same issue. For some reason the light will work on the 24 channel mode but will not work on any other modes other than that...I have tried about 5 different dmx cables and thought of everything i possibly could. I feel like I am making a mistake somewhere but I cannot figure out where. Does this problem sound familiar at all ... I am kinda at a loss for what I can even do.

Let me see if I can help you a bit. Because I have myDMX and a couple Mega Pixels as well. So from my understanding you put the unit into DMX mode. But it does not respond to the myDMX.

When you are putting it in to Channel modes like the 7ch for example: Are you pressing "ENTER" to confirm it? Because if it still is flashing then it is not confirmed.

Are you using the appropriate profile for myDMX?

If you are using the appropriate profile, are you turning up the "Dimmer" Channel if you are in any other mode other than 3 ch DMX?

Well I pretty much feel like the dumbest person in the world at this point. It was the dimmer ....I didn't even think of something that simple....thank you so very very much for saying something... I can't believe I missed that. thanks so much !!!
