Hi all,

I'm looking to purchase 13 ADJ Mega Hex Pars to light my online fitness classes. However I just wanted to check if there is a way to set the colour range/ colours they will use when reacting to music? I assume DMX would allow me to do this, but I just wanted to check before I spent the money. If there is a better or easier way I would love to know!

Thank you!

Simon

Hi, when the units go into sound reactive mode, there is no way for you to limit the colors it uses, and this is pretty much the case on any LED par on the market today. You would need to have a DMX board or controller and program certain colors and set up some sort of playback method that can either trigger the colors to music or to a certain BPM.

That's fine. I dont mind getting DMX software (looking at DMXIS) and learning how to set the colours I'd like and then learn how to make it react to music. I just was looking for conformation it was possible in some capacity.

I am new to lighting, so if you foresee any issues with my plan please let me know!! But of you conform I'm on the right track then I'll get everything on order.

Cheers for you time!
