I have 10 Mega Bar 50 RGB that I don't use much anymore and had to replace a broken end cap and the led board when a chair had fallen on the fixture and broke. The majority of the leds worked but the red ones near the impact area quit. I was going to continue to rent these for uplighting customers but do not want the hassles of checking to make sure that no damage occured during the rental.
It was by complete accident that I discovered that ADJ made a UV version of this fixture. Can I use the UV LED board in this RGB fixture to convert it? I already own 4 of the ECO UV and love the high output but lack of DMX control.
Even if the direct plug and play isn't available I'm not afraid of a soldering iron and have fixed my own fixtures in the past.
