Hey,
Just picked up 4 Martin Roboscan 812's, They work fine with my Chauvet Obey 70. I use MYDMX for all our shows though and whenever I put up a fader it resets, no matter which fader goes on. Then I pull all faders down and the continually reset. I saw a post on a 3-3 prong
Phase Reversing Cable that solved the problem for someone elses martins. I had it set for 5 and 7 channels via jumper. What is going on?

Take a dmx cable and swap pins 2 and 3 on one end.I would connect them at the end of your dmx line, otherwise, you will have to have multiple pin swap cables if you just go fixture to fixture.

Thanks, I read in manual now as well. Do all 812 fixtures need one or just the first one ?
