Mapping Issues

I'm very new to djing and I had a couple questions in regards to mapping. The idea of mapping makes sense to me but I'm having problems getting certain map files to work. Every mapping file on the forums I've tried to use and no luck so far. I'm using an audio kontrol 1 and tracktor 1.2.1 (r7692). Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you

your traktor version is pretty outdated. update it to the latest version (1.2.6) and this will probably cure the problem that mappings dont work, because meanwhile there have been many changes also in the mapping area.

p.s.: are you using the vms4 at all?
