Hey,

I purchase the LTS-50 (I think that's what it is), and I need it to span a greater distance, so I purchased the 5 foot extension on eBay (I know, not as smart as buying direct) but it doesn't come with the hardware to connect it to the other 5' sections. Now, I noticed in the parts store that there is a hardware bag that has one of these attachemnts, but it also comes with a bunch of other mounting hardware that I simply won't need. And $35 for two plastic adjustment clamps isn't going to fly. Is there a way to get the connective clamps without getting the rest? Thanks

Oh, and the middle 1.5 inch rod that connects the bottom rail to the top rail of the truss section is unneeded, I have it covered.

You could order them from ADJ.

I purchased 4 of the T-brackets with thumb-screws for $5 each last year. You'd need at least 2 of those plus that middle bar.

I purchased my I-Beam segments from ADJ direct, well, as direct as I could. I had to go through a local retailer that carries ADJ. Nationwide retailer.

I have lots of pictures of my 15-foot truss. I guess I could go longer, but I have no desire to. I am looking at the DuraTruss now. Just need the segments and that stand adaptor for the Crank2's.
I don't think LED is over-rated. I think at this point it is not being used to get the same performance out of an comparable halogen, incandescent or other type of fixture.

Personally, I am avoiding LED for the time being. I like and support the concepts of less power draw and less heat, but it come at the price of PRICE(LED is much more expensive) and lack of throw and overall output.

Overall, LED technology is fairly mature. It's just not up to par(no pun intended) with more traditional bulb-based fixtures yet. In time, the prices will drop as costs decrease, and output will improve.
Where did I get my T-Brackets?

Why, I called the ADJ sales department where a very friendly salesperson helped me order nearly all the parts I needed. There was a mis-communication over a thumb-screw for an older Electra unit, but other than that, it was all good. I requested that they ensure that the T-brackets had the thumbscrews rather than the hex screws. I'm trying to remain as tool-less as possible.

Now I have to find a glue to glue all the nuts into place so those can never get lost!

If you don't find what you're looking for online, call ADJ direct. I have been placed with virtually all aspects of tech support and sales. Nice to see a company that has a clue as to what customer service is.
