I extremly disatified with the mister cool it started out so great, but the performance degraded over time, to the point I would have to squeeze the tube to get the fog to go through the system. On Friday night at a gig, the tube broke, due to my squeezing no less, but at the most in opportune time. Oh well I'm going to go with the hazer, I like it much better anyway. But I have to wait for my fund to build before that project.

Sorry to hear that. Ive used one once and it worked great but I can see your experiences were slightly different. To avoid the same problem in the future its a good idea to flush out your machine every now and then with distilled water. Helps clean the pipes and guts inside froma ll the fog juice build up. Some people mix vinegar in there but if you do use minimal amounts, do it outside, anf flush it out several times otherwise your next gig will smell like lays potato chips!!! Sorry again and hope yoru new hazer will server you better. -AMP
I must say I'm not totally impressed with the Mr. Kool either...

I've had mine about 2 years now. After the first couple months of use....

I got it, I used it once, and the pump seized on it, so I ordered another pump, and it too seized up. I got maybe 6 uses out of it in the entire 2 months I used it. Been collecting dust since.

I dug it out again last night and tried to clean it, but got nowhere. The pump is simply seized up. Sits there and hums the entire time.

I'm going to order one last pump for it, but that's it's last shot before being trashed.
jsmain, and others
Just an update, while I buried my mr kool RIP, some products were rushed to market in my opinion while some were tested to no avail.
The replacement unit American Hazer, while costing twice as much, has live up to it's potential so far. Uses way less liquids, and I'm on my second machine.
Machine one is install in a night club, the patrons do get mad or complain about the fog or haze in thier case, nor has the hazer number two which is used in my mobile system set off any alarms, of course I only let enough haze build up to highlight the light beam then I switch it from free willy to timed released. Which keeps enough haze in the air to capture the light beams, so bottom line on this report.
thumbs down to Mr. Kool who reliability did not live up to the American D.J. standards or name.
And yes it was still under warranty but I had neither the time or funds to wasted on such a bad investment. Sometimes you have to know when to cut your losses.
thumbs up
American Hazer, mr kool replacement. This machine has live up to the American D.J. name and highly recommended by:

used not only in a club, but in high schools and middle schools across the city, to include military functions on Fort Bliss.
