probably the dumbest question EVER!
is it possible to link 2 differnet lights?, what i mean is can i have a utopia (master) and dj scna (slave) linked together?

the Dj Scan and utopia have different DMX channals. mabey the pan/tilt might be the same.
I too have wondered this. My guess would be no. It may be possible the mirrors move together, but if the program is different, and the lights are different, the light may confuse each other. I would ask somebody first, their may be a chance doing something like that could foul up the lights computer system, but I have no idea. Very good question...I would like to know myself.

Well the X-treme series are compatible with eatch-other but i don't know either.
usually the answer is no. The problem is many times the Pan and Tilt are not on the same channel also the amount of gobs are different so you will not get full color or gobo match. even with theses differences sometime they work. you usually wont hurt any thing by trying.
I just got a pocket Scan today and i was wondering the same Question. Iwould like to link it up with a Mighty Scan. if the Mighty Runs the pocket strobes and uses it's laser. if the pocket runs fully the mighty scans shutter closes.
