lights not responding to mydmxgo

I have been trying to get a generic set of moving heads working with dmxgo, I have created my own profile with the profile builder and manual supplied with moving Heads. my Ipad see's the mydmxgo unit and unit see's signal from ipad, but moving heads not responding. am I doing something wrong, have tried with both wifi and usb still no action, my unit is a replacement as first one did same, can't believe both units faulty.

anybody any ideas.

Since posting above , found I had to set light units to a show mode as default, this seems to have solved the problem.

What exact fixture do you have? The KEY part when making profiles for the myDMX GO app is channel defaults..... if you didn't select the right default for shutter open and dimmer ON at Full, then it wont output light automatically.
