Every service, the lights blink by themselves about an hour into the service. This occurs when the same lights are left on while the pastor is preaching. Last week, the front lights went out and the back lights began flashing, then it goes back to the set program. It normally just blinks one time, and it did just blink once in the second service. Does this sound like a program issue or a computer issue?

Here are a couple ideas.

Terminator. Make sure you have it on the last fixture of each dmx chain.

DMX Splitter(Preferably either Elation DMX Opto-Branch or Elation DMX-Branch 4)

DMX Cables

DMX Splitter: The DMX splitter is really important because if you have long runs of dmx cable or you have more than a few fixtures on the DMX run, the splitter will boost the MyDMX signal, it also has less chance of system hiccups.

DMX Cable: Are you using DMX cables or MIC cables. There is a major difference in resistance/ohms in DMX cable vs MIC Cable. DMX signal likes to be on 120ohm data line. MIC cable tends to be around 600ohm or so.

I run my lights at church through MyDMX then through the Elation DMX-Branch 4 then I send separate lines to each side of the room, then always on my last fixtures I put terminators.
