Lighting Effects

yes there is a pro version of the vertigo. but its discontinued, could look on ebay for it. but anyway whats your budjet?

Not really looking for anything too expensive. I already have a set of scantrons. I just need some light effects for the low budget gigs and/or for additional support with the scantrons.
If the VERTIGO is not a good choice please inform and suggest.

Wait shadow...the Vertigo isnt discontinued. Your thinkin of the Verti-Pro. The vertigo is a nice effect. I would reccommend it as well I was just making some other FX suggestion thats are reasonably priced. Check ADJ's website for all the other effects as well.

i just said the vertigo pro was (verti-pro) and i think a nice light that isnt just a mess of colors is the Reflex 300.

There is a version of the Vertipro/Vertigo2, and its the Epsilon, great nifty light. Don't be quick to say a light is "messy". What if you're doing a school dance, and a bungh of house heads want some hard house? There are times when a 'messy light' can do a kick butt job when its positioned right, and used at the right time. I love the mini-gressor. Its smaller, lighter, but still gives a great effect.

i got 2 vertigo's and i love them there the best light for that price man

Just a thought...you might want to get one vertigo and one mini gressor. just for some diversity. Its just a thought. Let your creativity run wild. Happy buying!

I have 2 vertigo's and 2 verti-pros also
I like the stutter type effect from stepper motors on verti-pros better.They are both good lights

Both are great lights..I own four of each. The mini gressor II uses 2-200 watt lamps while the Vertigo uses 2-300 watt lamps. Optical quality of the lenses are the same and so is the price.

Hey Sly Dog Where In palmdale are you? I had both the vertigo and now the verti-pro I like the Pro better. Has a different effect than vertigo cause of stepper motors.I think Elation sells one similar to the verti-pro someone from am dj should know

Actually I'm in littlerock,just down the road a bit from palmdale. Would you be the guy I met DJ-ing at the Volkswagen dealer Satuday? I just got here this past thursday. I cut my real job in the middle east because of the stuff thats going on.Been back in the USA less than a week. Any info on the Palmdale/Lancaster area in regards to DJ-ing would be appreciated.
