Lighting console VS Interface

So I'm looking at buying a lighting system for my bedroom, and one thing I'm debating over is if I should get a lighting console or interface and control my lights from a computer. I feel like I would be able to do a lot more with a console, but interface's seem to be cheaper and they look easier to use.

If you have any suggestions, please let me know. Thanks!
