ok, i have been DJin for a while now. I got all the lights i need and more, but some times less is more. For instance...all the fancy intel lights n stuff are great for the younger folks. But sometimes i get a gig at a bar where older people go, or a dance for people in an older age group (40-50). I find that 8 pars on a a chaser and a mirror ball usually ties them over really good. It sure makes it easy for luggin gear around, and fast set-up. Does anyone else have the same thing happening?

In response to your "Less is more" comment.........Yes, I've also found that the older crowds may "Require" less in the way of "Extra lighting," but I've also seen some of the DJs in this area use their lighting systems as a marketing tool. When (as in the case of this area) there are over 2000 mobiles trying for THEIR slice of the pie, anything that you can do to make yourself better, more versatile, of more easily marketed is helpful. So in answer to your original question.........YES and NO.......(lol)
