Hi,

Last night i was preparing to start my gig and suddenly a big problem occur. I powered on my controller and i noticed that only the right VU meter turned on. In addition there was no response from the left side of the controller (que button, play button, pause button, cue button). In general it seems that left side of the controller is dead (it doesn't seem to be powered on although the led knobs are red as supposed to be).

Please advice on how to proceed. I already sent an email to thomann.de where i bought the controller and i also sent an email to Europe American Audio support.

Hi,

i'm using Virtual DJ Pro but i don't think it is a software problem since when i power on the unit only the right vu meter turns on. In addition, play, cue, pause, loop, sync and the rest midi buttons on the left side are not responding (no led light at all).

I already did and the their answer is:

quote:
It seems like a loose multi pin which goes from the main board to the control board inside the housing.

They also advice me to contact the dealer which i did, and i will ship the unit most probably by tomorrow.

The dealer gave two options:

1) Unit replacement
2) Money return since i have the unit less than 30 days in my hands.

My concern is if i get a new VMS4.1 will this happen again (no-none will know)? I really didn't stretch VMS4.1 and i only used it 4 times. What will happen if i start using this unit 2 or 3 times a week like most mobile djs?
Hi guys,

i 've got a replacement and i'm still having a minor problem that also had with my previous VMS4.1. I put the controller on a table, even on granite surface but still there is blank (gap) on the right down corner of the controller which make it unstable. I don't know if my explanation is helpful, but because of this gap, when working on the right side of the controller it's not nice since the unit keeps going down since it seems that the controller is not uniformly stand on in the 4 corners.

Any ideas?
