I can help with this. I own 4 LED Shadows. Ok scubajack this is what needs to be done on the LED Shadows.
Channel 1 is the Mode channel. DMX values 0-39 is Strobe/Pulse, 40-79 is Mode 1, 80-119 is Mode 2, 120-159 is Mode 3, 160-199 Mode 4, 200-239 is Mode 5, 240-255 is Sound Active.
Channel 2 is the Strobe/Speed channel, this channel controls the strobe of the light or the speed of the current "mode".
Channel 3 is the dimmer channel this channel is the channel you want if you want the light just full on. But this fixture is very temper-mental, it is a reverse fader operation meaning rather than starting at 0% and gradually increasing in brightness till 100%, it starts at 0% then anything above DMX value of 3 is 100% then gradually decreasing until 0% which is why this fixture is weird when using it in DMX modes.

I hope you can understand what I have said.
