Has anyone here ever attempted to replace bad LED's and succeeded? I'm not a novice but I am not an expert and I'm trying to ascertain how much of a PITA it is.

Hi there,
It can be done. You just need to be sure to use the exact same type of replacement LED and solder it in so that the polarity is correct. Before you get to work, are you sure it's the LEDs that have gone bad and not another component of the circuit board or power supply? Hope this helps!

Thanks so much! I'm not sure I have the chops to make it happen, but I think it would be fun to mess around.
