With the LED-4C DMX LED Controller
would there be a way to hook up my own set of leds to it and have them work with the fader/sound active function
100-150 of these leds would be used in a parallel circuit

and how would I go about hooking that up if its possible

Thank you,

It would be a lot easier to buy pre-made stuff.

That controller only works with 4 channel DMX fixtures, so very limited. I wouldn't pay even half of that price(sorry) for something that limited. Honestly, I wouldn't even pay $20 for it.

Sorry ADJ, not a slam. I know you're making stuff for a niche there, but in my view, I'd rather spend a bit more and get a lot more. I saw Guitar Center selling DMX Operators for those prices late last year.

You'd need to buy or build a DMX controller board and a write or buy a DMX chipset, plus all the other nifty goodies required to facilitate that signal coming in and out. Plus power,PLUS UL approval or that other approval organiation, plus all the construction time.

Nope, aint worth it. You can get close to 200 LED's in a 64 LED Pro, 7 DMX channels and color mixing and more.

You CAN do it. The issue is "is it worth doing?" I don't think it's worth doing.
