Will the 2.0 dongle work with both PC and mac or is there a separate dongle for PC and mac? I am hoping that the dongle will work with either system and it is up to you to choose which mydmx software to download (PC or Mac). I say this because I currently have a crappy old mac that could go any day and am looking at stealing my sister's less crappy PC laptop when this day comes.

Yes the My DMX 2.0 interface can be used on either Mac or Windows. There are not individual hardware units per OS. "One interface to rule them all."

Yes, although you cannot use your mydmx interface with another app at the same time.
