So I just placed a pre-order for mydmx 2.0. I don't even know how it will be different than 1.0 but I'm hoping the purchase will be worth it (especially when considering that people will be selling their old dongles quite cheap). The only big change I see is that it will work with mac or pc and that the screen look has been upated. Also mentioned is a drag and drop effects section. I don't even know what that means but I'm hoping it is cool. I hope there are a bunch of other upgrades/new effects, etc. that will surprise me. I was really really hoping for a sound activated mode but apparently this is not in the cards.
I'll give the ADJ guys this, they sure know how to keep a tight lid on details about their new product. In any event, the money spent is well worth it for me because I have never used dmx software that was this user friendly. Now tell me what I bought Jingles!! lol. I think we are close enough to the release date that you can switch from being Mr. Secret to Mr. Hype Man. haha
