Is there a maximum of fixtures? Or should all 512 channels work

I have the myDMXgo, I ran my lights with it, first 12 fixtures ran perfect, next 12 as well, I went to add another 12 and only the first 6 worked, it completely ignored the last six.
Does that mean it will only control 30 fixtures? Although I have plenty of channels left? I only got to 432 channels more or less at 12 channels per fixture.

With the GO hardware you only get a half universe of channels, so 256 total channels in use, until you make a account at store.dmxsoft.com and purchase the other 256, as a note mydmx GO is a single universe only interface, it will not allow 2 universes.
