Installation problem

Hi,

I am trying to install MyDMX 2.0 on my IMac running OSX 10.7.5, I have previously tried to install, and the application is no where to be found. In my applications folder I have a folder for MyDMX 2.0, and it contains the scan library. I have trashed every file I can find for MyDMX and am trying to reinstall, when I try to install, it tells me I cannot install on my system hd as there is a newer version of the program already installed. Once again, I use spotlight to search for any file pertaining to MyDMX and delete the files. Run again and same results.

I have had limited success installing to an external drive, and I get the Easy stand alone application, but no scan libraries.

The interface is working, as I have tried it on two other machines.

HELP!!!

Well I think I found the solution to my problem on the DMXis forum

Open Terminal (in Applications/Utilities)
Type "sudo pkgutil --forget com.dbaudioware.showbuddy"
Enter your admin password when prompted
Run the Show Buddy installer again

substitute mydmx for showbuddy.
