Inno Color Beam Quad7 WiFly? Show Mode?

Hi folks...

I have 3 Quad7's..one i've had for a while and 2 new ones this week.

On the older one...I can choose the Show Mode, no problem at all from the front panel menu.

On the new ones...Show Mode doesn't exist in the menu...and it's been replaced with WiFly Enable..

So...what's the deal here? I can't put it in any show mode other than 1...help!

Looking at the firmware, all of it showing v1.0 apart from A which is 1.1 I think...

Further to this, i've not yet tried putting the new fixtures into 1ch DMX mode and setting the show mode from there, but I will do this tomorrow. I assume this will work.

It would appear you have a different model, which would change the firmware version number. you have the wifly version.

Try doing the 1ch mode like you thought and let me know.
Also take a look at the manual of the wifly version and see if there is anything in there.

Ahh yes, the manual that came with the fixture...I only keep looking at the download one which is the one I used when I reviewed the Quad7 for a UK DJ magazine...

Hi, ok the supplied paper manual is the same as the one online...it doesn't mention wifly at all.

if the unit says wifly on the outside, then it is a different model.
