I have 4 pocket scans and an Operator II. I want to get the most out of these products and the manuals were not made for beginners. Is there a better resource for programming DMX? I heard there was an ADJ video for the Operator II but I did not get one and my dealer knew nothing about one.

Also, can I plug my existing dimmer packs into the Operator II and control par cans and non DMX lighting too?

i know how you feel, it's like a big secret when we ask for help in the dmx programming, i'll share what i've learned, if you have a dmx solo for the pocket it would help, you take your operator II and plug just one pocket scan into it then you take one other scan and place on the solo, on the operator II move all the faders so you can see what does what, once that done move the solo speed to about 15 or so seconds per movement better known as steps, mimic what you see, record it to bank 1 ch 1 then next to bank 2 ch 1 and so on till you get to 30, then copy your work to a chase bank, we will say chase 1 down load bank 1-30 into that and start over bank 2 ch2 bank 2 ch 2 bank 3 ch 2 and so on hope this helps
