I Haven't Been Able to Get Virtual DJ Pro to Respond to My VMS4 and It's Left Me :(

Hey, I'm new to using the forums, this being my first post, and I'm unsure whether or not I'm leaving this message in the appropriate place. I do apologize if any of that.
I've had a VMS4 for a little over a year, and it worked perfectly with Virtual DJ LE. I was only able to use it efficiently for a few weeks. I built a computer after that, bought Virtual DJ Pro, and since then, haven't gotten anything to work appropriately except for the jog-wheels. I've looked on youtube channels to find a way to fix it, but to no avail. If anyone could please help me out, it would be greatly appreciated!

Well, I just plugged in my VMS4, turned it on, and opened virtual dj pro. This is a new problem... I tried using Virtual DJ Pro just the other week on the 17th, and I managed to be able to dj just with a mouse like it was the good old days. Right now, I've dragged different mp3 files and they're not playing. I put it on the left deck, and the blue sound wave comes up, but that's it. I can press the play button on my controller, or on the screen, and it shows up as being pressed, but the song wont play. The tempo sliders seem to work, as well as pretty much the entire left and right side. The middle with the midilogs and gains and sliders however do not read at all.
