Hyper Gem LED DMX Ch1 description

Can someone explain the DMX ch1 on Hyper Gem LED to me? I know "Off" and "Sound active", but what is Sync-, 2-light and 4-light show?? Theres no description in the manual and i cant see a real difference?

Sync Show is basically a Master/Slave mode
Light Modes are different light shows built in reflecting across to ch2 chases

So there are 12 chase patterns for each of the modes on ch1?
