DUCKTAPE!!! Big Grin Big Grin ....yeah man....thats the way to go.....after a while u'll get all sorts of effects from using ducktape!!!...first u'll get ur own smoke machine!!(better than fog)...then after that, a realistic flame effect!!..looks better than those flame bowls!!...then watch...it'll start makin all ur lights blink!!...yup, no need for a controller anymore!!...and the best thing about it is...it only costs a buck!!...

but...

dont ever try it Big Grin Big Grin
I got a clamp and it goes on the back of the mirror ball motor. Make sure you have the low rpm motor too...There is a banquet facility nearby in which they have one of the faster ones...It can make you feel like you are getting the spins.
I also like to mount my pinspots on the legs of my stands, and have them angle verticly, and towards the front of the ball. I only my m.ball once last year, since getting my roto pods...I also haven;t had to replace their bulbs yet. Average 10 slow songs and 30-40 gigs since last year...Good useage out of a low cost, low power bulb!
I do like the mirrorball effect too though.
to mout a black light there is usally some holes on the back side of the black light where it was supposed to be mounted to a ceiling or chain hung.... Buy yourself some good qualiy Zip-Ties and put a zip tie though the hiles and make it inot a snall loop.... Now you can either use another Zip-tie to the truss and though the loop you made with the other zip tie ot you can use a safety cable to the loop as well.... I have been doing this for years for myself and other production houses I work for and never had a problem.... Just get good Zip-Ties that give you a load rateing to be safe.... Worth the extra buck to get the good ones...

As for the mirror ball screw it to a small piece of black wood that you can put 2 clamps onto and mount your truss..... There is actually a compan that makes this piece out of aluminum but can not remember not sure why AMDJ has not made this yet for us all......
In regards to the mirror ball mount, ADJ makes a mounting plate for the motor. I then used one of their C-clamps and cranked that down nice and tight to the mounting plate. Works wonderul for me. I have mounted it to my truss many times at this point and have yet to have any problems or difficulties.

Check out the following parts:

C-Clamp. I think I'm using the light-duy one.

I just keep it all together as one unit: motor, plate, clamp. Saves loads of time.
