Hello. I have 4 PocketScans and 4 DMX ColorChangers that I control via the Operator, but am looking to add a couple of HighTech lights like the Vertigo or MiniGressor. I want something simple that I can quickly turn these lights on and off with. I read somewhere on this board about getting something at Home Depot that turns lights on and off with a remote. What exactly does the PP-DMX20L controller do? Any other recommendations? Thanks everyone!

if u want alot of high tech lights i would say go with the aviator SP8 pack, it has built in chases, 8 channels with two outlets per channel, and it is also dmx512. u could also get the avaitor controller if u want to keep your intels and hightech lights completely seperate while still having the option of combining the two
I actually just finished making my own "switch box" out of wood.

If done right, it can look nice and will cost yuo much less than any on the market (I spent $20 for everything at home depot)

I just got some switches and outlets and wired them together with some 20amp indoor wire(can be done with a basic working knowledge of home wiring...something, if you don't know how to do already, the person at home depot can explain to you)

This is, of course, for a basic switch box, and it would only be there to turn things on and off...nothing fancy like chasing etc.

If you wanted to get really fancy, you could put in some LEDs to show when each light is on (like some of the switch boxes on the market)

Of course it's all much easier (or if you're looking for features like chasing and patterns) to go out and buy one plus buying one from ADJ would support support all of our favorite company...but I just thought I'd throw that out for ya.

Hey joestros,

I own a pair of VertiPro II's. They each came with the optional Mini-C blackout controller included. This thing is GREAT! Just plug it in to the VertiPro, give the VertiPro some electricity and the lights move to the beat of the music. When you want the lights to stop, just press the button on the Mini-Controller.

Seems like the perfect solution for you at NO additional cost!

p.s.: Hey fellas (and laydeezs), I'm baaaack. We had a very busy holiday season but it's officially over now.
