Just picked up a myDMX go and I wanted to see how I can connect my wifly wash bars as a fixture. I do have a wifly transceiver. Just not sure how to connect using myDMX go. It works fine with airstream but I want to be able to use myDMX go for all my lighting. Thank you in advance.

Hi, myDMX go does not contain any of the WiFly wireless DMX functions, you'll have to use the transceiver to send DMX from the GO out to any WiFly receivers. make sense?
I did connect the wifly transceiver to the go and I still can’t control my wash bars. I was also trying to find the wash bars under the fixtures tab and they are not available. Tried it with a fixture that would be similar but still no luck. I connected a donner dongle to the wifly transceiver that is connected to the go and my moving heads and hex pars work just fine. Can’t get the wash bars to work though.

Thank you for your help. I got it to work finally. 👊🏻
Hi, sorry i know this is an old thread but i'm trying to evaluate if the myDMX Go will suit my needs and this thread looked to be along similar lines.
Can i use the myDMX Go with Wifly fixtures and what, if any additional transceiver would i need to get?
Thanks
Hi the GO doesn't have the ADJ WiFly Wireless DMX signal in it, it's single antennae are only to communicate from iPad/tablet to the app over its built in WIFI network, its not a wireless DMX network. You would need the WiFly EXR Battery and a short DMX cable to connect the EXR to the GOs DMX output #1 port. You don't want them too close together as the EXR could interfere with the WIFI the Go uses to talk to the app. Does this make sense?

Great, thank you!
