HexStar barely moving

I have a brand new HexStar that barely moves at all. You have to have the bass cranked up majorly for it to move to the audio

Is this normal? I've already tried a different Mic on the PCB. maybe its the PCB itself.

Any idea? I'd rather not have to deal with the hassel of sending it in.. but if its suppose to be moving normaly then I guess I should send it in. Thing is I'm the only one around here with a hexstar, so i'm not realy sure what its suppose to be doing.

If you make it slave does it move normally ?
