im using the operator 192 with joy stick and in another cases mydmx. from my controller to the first fixture is a six feet cable made by accu cable that i got at sixstardj dot com then from my first fixture to my second one is a cable not longer that a meter. i put this 8 fixtures on a 20 feet truss, by global truss and i dont have a terminator this problen its been happening for about 3 months but i had this fixtures for about 3 years. i had always run them the same way, and this happens in the same fixture regardless of the position it is. i have marked this fixture to know which one it is. i though that it was the cable so i switch cables between fixtures but nothing.
If you are using Accu Cable and with that short a run, seems like the color wheel motor in the fixture might be off. I would give service a ring tomorrow and see if you can't get that wheel recalibrated. Just make sure you have the fixture in front of you when you call as well as the serial number so they can help you quicker.
I would have to agree that with such short cable lenghts, and how the others are responding, it's not a Layer 1 issue, but we're still not 100% on if it's all DMX cabling.

Regardless, sounds like something got bumped out of whack, probably in transport between gigs. Call support with the light with you and necessary tools as you're gonna be cracking that sucker open. Don't be afraid, this stuff isn't that difficult.
