Also I noticed some Vertigo's have a problem is the cover over the mic is caked up with dust. If it turns when you first turn on, then the motor is not the problem, it's something to do with the mic. If it doesn't ever turn, it is then probably something with the motor.
I've had a similar problem with my vertigo. I have taken it totally apart and checked for cold solder joints and everything else. Finally replaced the pc board and mic but it still stopped moving after about 10 minutes every time. I'm pretty sure there is something shorting out in the motor itself. Will be replacing that as soon as I get the motor from adj. I never had these problems with my older vertigo. So I'm assuming something was changed between the two.
