I was just about to buy the fog storm 1200,until I've read all these things about hazers...
I need your help.
Exactly how much better is a hazer than a fogger? I know there is a difference, but how much...
Plus, how about pricing on the juice needed for it,and how long does haze juice last compared to fog juice?
Thanks,
Jeff

Hi,

Hazers are great because people wont complain about hazers at your dances , they'll complain about fog because it is more visible then haze is, plus hazers are a little more expensive but they dont have a heat up time so they'll give you a little more flexiblility when settin up.

hope this info helps

Greetings,
Hazers are great when a location does not allow fog. Because a hazer does not need to be and is not heated it does not make the smoke alarms go off. You can let the hazer run for an hour and it would not be too bothersome. It sticks around in the air pretty long and still provides enough smokey effect to get the full effect of your lights. Hazers are substantually more expensive than a fog machine, but they are more flexible. Hope this answers your question.

Well,it does in a way...
I'll get to the point I guess...
I was looking to spend less than $200 on a fogger, and the hazer which was used for about a month is a M***** Jem h2k pro hazer. The dealer I buy all my stuff from picked up one in an auction from a big sound company that went outta business. He says its in brand new shape, inside and out. He's willing to part with it for $350 and throw in a free case.
Is it gonna be worth paying that much more than the other foggers I was looking at?
Thanks,
Jeff
How much does it retail for? If it is a reasonable price, I'd go for it...

You are very likely to have good esperiences with M*a*rtin equipment... that is why they have such a good track record, and have been along for so long on so many different areas of lighting industry...

And the free case is good. You always want to keep your gear in nice cases... they will prove to last much longer, and their resale value is much higher when they are well conserved.
If I were you, I would get the hazer, because I've found that more often than not, my fogger would interfere with the venue's fire alarm systems, and with a hazer, you would never have to worry about that(or the fire department fees when they come out for a false alarm)

also, many people complain about foggers, but you will rarely find someone complaning about hazers
