Hello! I'm new to the forum and have a question about the galaxian 3d lights. I have two, and when I run them on DMX or Master/Slave I want them to look exactly the same on both sides. Or if I use SL2 and invert them I want them to be inverted...

Problem I'm having, is having the rotations different on each light. When the greens come together to meet in the middle, one is diagonal, the other is straight. The red lasers are doing different motions in the back.

I've played with the ROT 1 and ROT 2 on the LED panel, but I just can't seem to get them to match up. Even when I use the exact same numbers on the ROT 1 and ROT 2.

I've got them close after playing with the ROT 1 and 2, but would really like to know if there is a way to get them both to reset and sync up.

Please let me know if you can help!

Thanks!

Well, as I understand these fixtures, your only way of getting duplication or a hope of, is in master/save mode. Ensure they are set properly, that's the biggest trick.

In DMX mode, they should be able to be on the same program but probably won't fully match up.

Remember, you can't mix and match DMX and master/slave. It's srictly either/or, not both.
gotcha...

i have tried both.. the master slave mode also had the reds and greens way off on both. It still looks cool, I just think it'd be really impressive to have them completely matching, I was hoping there was some sort of reset to get the rotations to match up at a starting point.
I only have wash-type fixtures that have the option for master/slave mode, so I can't really compare. They do what they are supposed to do, so I don't complain.

I do have a pair of ADJ Color Fusions, and for some reason, they strobe out of sync in DMX mode. I don't feel like taking these in for service because they've been doing it since Day 1, so hence have a flaw in them from the factory. The other reason is that I rather liked the out of sync effect and have not only learned to work with it, but actually use it as a feature.

Defective is I guess subjective sometimes.

See if the hard reset does anything for you. Ensure that you power ON the master first, and use the DMX OUT on the master to go to the DMX IN on the slave.
