Just wanted to share some info. Love my dmx when it works. Tried 7 different machines and operating systems. All of these combos were fresh installs and nothin running but the clock. Win 7 was nothing but trouble,would lose dongle action light would go solid green. Tried everything, modding usb host controllers,power schemes you name it. These machines were all stuffed (4+gigs of DDR). The fix was simple dig out a relic with XP Pro fresh install all is well. Had trouble with some lag/blinking some fresh DDR2 fixed it. I have read every single post, tried every version, every combo. XP stuffed to the gills with good RAM and this works flawlessly for 8 weeks now every Sunday with 32 fixtures 600 feet plus of DMX wiring. Use your win 7 to surf the internet and post on the forums! Enjoy

Works well with my XP Home Netbook too! never an issue except I don't use the 3D vis part... I only have 16 fixtures and not near the footage... but still... 80 myDMX channels...
