Flash Tubes

Hello All

I have seven American DJ flash tubes five of them have some of the strobes out. I can repair them. But I need to know how to remove the four strobes out of the tube. I already removed the two screws at each's end. I can only slide the strobes a few inches out. The PCB board is wider then the opening. Is there some trick on remove them? I don't want to hack them apart.

Hello Kevin You need to unscrew the cap on both ends with some big mouth pliers. Once you unscrew the cap you will need to unsolder one side to remove the internal guts. We at ADJ no longer offer repair on these tubes since a replacement is the cheapest way to go.

Hey Ernie

Thanks for the reply. So let make sure I have this right. The black end that is threaded that looks like it is glued to the clear tube actually unscrews from the clear tube. NOT the end ring that unscrews that has the plug going through it.
