How can I make my own profiles (or edit a similar one) for my DMX?

My DMX 1.0 or 2.0?
For 1.0 there is a scan library editor. However for 2.0 there is not. Adding in the Mac platform made it tricky to the point where the editor and the 3D have to be re-done and will then be implemented into the program together once completed.
So, which my dmx program do you have?

When i click on information, all it says is June 2011, it doesn't give a version number.

....also, when I try to build in the visualizer, it tells me I have unsupported objects.
I guess i have 1.0, because 2.o has a black background.

think you just set both fixtures with the address

if you are talking in reguards to the light itself, you simply set the DMX channel to the desired channel then set any other light you want to that channel and they will work exactly the same

I have 2 Lekos on 1 truss that are controlled by the same channel on the lighting board.
How can I have 2 seperate lights on 1 channel on MY DMX?

For my dmx 1 the editor is in, C drive/MyDMX/ Scanlibrary.exe
All you need to do is patch in one profile for the one leko and both will respond.

I am sorry I am so much of a novice.
I am coming from a traditional lighting board for theater shows and know nothing about DJ stuff.
90% of my lights are lekos & fresnels. I have a few LED par cans & RGB panels. I would like to be able to use the MY DMX software to program & run the show versus the lighting board as the board has become un-reliable.
The instruction manual available online doesn't have correct information, or step by step information about how to set up things. It assumes you already know how to use it.
I cannot find an instruction manual for the editor.
I can't do any patching because the lights are hard wired into the theater truss.
I need to make an appointment with you or someone else to help me understand how to use the software so I can use it on our next show.
Is there a time I can call and talk to a live person?
