Nice light, somewhat realistic! BUT you couldnt do any better with it. It looks like the same thing with a sort of Water wheel in it to change the shape ever so slightly but its the same image projected.

You should try to make it with a Metal wheel in it that is etched with flames, close together, that rotates so that the image projected changes. And maybe make a color wheel that has more yellow, oranges, and reds. This would make a much better flame effect.

All in all the light could be better. All ive seen between all the other companies are the same.

What do you guys think.

I actually used a couple units on a cyclorama (cyc) in the theatre i work at for a show over the summer...it was like "hell" so hence the flames. It actually gave a very cool effect. not quite bright enough for the applicatio but still gave a neat effect...u definately got the idea of flames burning. Another way to get a flame effect is the same method I use on stage for water you use a fixtire called a "twin spin" its essentially a light where usually one gobo is sationary and then the other rotates and you get the flowing or in this case burning effect. You could also have them both spin for a cool different effect. I dont really know how the fire burst works....so i coudlnt really make any suggestions for bettering the unit.
