FC 400 & Rainbow 250s

I'm using four Rainbow 250 DMX lights and I would like to use a foot controller to operate the system. Does anyone know if the FC 400 foot controller is compatable with Rainbow 250s? This is my first set of DMX lights and I can use any advise I can get.

Yes it would work! However since the FC 400 only controls 4 channel of DMX you could only set your Rainbow 250 to 2 separate channels. So no matter how many Rainbows you have they would only be in 2 groups Starting address 1 and starting address 3.

Thanks for the information. Two groups would work fine for what I'm doing. I downloaded the manual for the FC 400 and I read through it. I still have a couple of questions.

1) Would changing the intensity of channel one set the color and changing the intensity on channel two set the intensity for the first group? 2) The manual says their are 20 built in programs. Can I edit each of these programs? If not what portion of the FC 400 is editable?
