I am trying to add a profile for the DJ Scan 250EX to the controller, primarily to enable the joystick. Apparently, with generic profiles the joystick does not work as the X and Y channels have not been identified.
I am adding the new profile via the U-Link software and saving the new combination with a .wcn extension. When I try to upload the new profiles, the computer screen displays progress bars and indicates the upload is completed. However, the display on the controller displays “File Error”. The new profiles are not being received, even though the computer indicates they were sent successfully.
I am able to upload and download the entire memory of the controller, so the communications link is working. What am I doing wrong?
