well, it that time of the year when i go start buying lasers for my raves..

Just wondering if anyone has used the emerald star before and what are his comments on it??
Does it cover a wide area or do i have to buy 4-5 of them for a serious show???
Also if you guyz could recommend me some other great lasers that cover a wide area, it would make my life alot easier.
just some questions from a non-lighting guy!

you are a lot better off going with a higher end scanning system, for the money you could pick up a 50-100mw green scanner system(not a beam table) and it would be a whole lot sweeter/brighter

I use to have a pair of emerald stars. Don't get me wrong, they are really cool looking lasers and have a pretty good coverage area. However, this laser is for more of a high energy show where control of the laser patterns and rotation speed arent necessary. This is more of a "plug n play" laser. I sold my two starts because i want something with DMX capabilities. Check out mobolazer or Pulse lasers by omnisistem.
