the emerald scans are a dmx fixture. i am not sure you would have to look in the manual for the specific dmx traits and that will tell you but as far as i know you can adjust beam gap and patterns and their speed and pan/tilt. but i don't think you can access the internal programs. maybe if they can go s.a. via dmx? i'll check it out and get back to ya. yea just checked it out sorry but no s.a. and no internal program access via dmx. however you could always just try to program the internal programs. just watch them and see if you can't replicate them. it is a lot of work but would be very rewarding if you got it right? sincerly jingles1
Hey Zwa,
Let me know what you think of those lights. I've been looking at them but I'm not sure if they are good or not. I've done alot of work with the tri-beam and the green is really bright, So I imagine the emerald scan is bright also. They should be relatively easy to program. The problem the tribeam has when programming is it won't stay on continuously so you can see where it is aimed. It will come on for about 2 seconds and then go off. I'm not sure if the emerald scan has the same problem. If it doesn't, it will be an awesome thing. I know this was long winded, sorrySmiler
Thx for the replies guys! Too sad the ES' programs are not available through DMX, I've seen the program's video here @ ADJ site and is great. I'm using it with the ******* DMX-44 and I don't think I can pull out those movements by myself.
I really liked this laser. I'm planning on getting a second one to do the symetrical laser show (via mini c anyways).
