Sorry for being so naive, cause I just started learning how to use LED lights and My DMX.
I have two trees, four lights per tree. Is this correct:

1) connect all LED lights on one tree with cables linked to each light.
2) the first light in the chain is connected to the Elation Wireless Receiver.
3) the Elation Wireless Transmitter will be cabled to the My DMX and the Laptop Computer.
4) I will still be able to control all four lights on one tree as individual lights programmed to respond to different actions as long as each light has it's own controller number.

How do I set up the second tree of four lights to work with the Elation Wireless System?

Or do I run a DMX cable from one tree to the other?

Or will the second tree need it's own Elation Wireless System and if so how do I connect the second Elation Wireless System to the single My DMX?

Same way. Since it's wireless, just add a receiver to the second tree and you're good to go. You could run a cable if you wantd to from the end of the first tre, but it's not necessary.

Just add extra receivers where necessary.

Thing of it this way:
When I run my IEM's to use as impromptu intercom system, I set all the receiver packs to the same frequency. Now we're all on the same mix. Similar concept. Multiple receivers to a single transmitter is acceptable. Multiple transmitters all set to the same receiver is foolish.
