I'm very new to the lighting world, so I have a real basic question.
I'd like to setup some simple uplighting for 3 piece band. I imagine using a different light on the ground facing each person. We'll be lined up in a row...kind of like Kraftwerk.
I'd really like to use a foot controller so we can have more control of the lights when we're playing. I don't want to rely entirely on pre-programed lights because we do a lot of improvising.
Anyway, I borrowed a friend's Chauvet 4Bar and it was really unreliable. The foot controller only worked half the time and I've read about other people having the same problem.
Right now I'm leaning towards the FC-400. Does anyone else on here use that for their main programing? If so, do have any favorite lights that go along with it?
